Here are some of the most asked questions about pet sessions. Have more? Contact the photographer!
Why do clients choose to have Rebecca photograph their pets?
Simple...people love their pets, and want to celebrate what their dog or cat means
to them while they are still here with us. A portrait by Rebecca Brittain captures the spirit of your pet for a lifetime.
Many sessions are given as gifts and make great birthday, Valentine, and
anniversary surprises!
Do you have a studio?
Yes, sessions are done in Largo, by appointment only.
How do I book a session?
Call or email Rebecca to book your session. We will discuss your session choices,
talk about your specific pet(s) and what you are looking for from your Petography session.
Appointments are available to accomodate your busy schedule.
Evenings and weekend appointmentss are very popular.
I saw a photo I really liked and want that look...can we do that?
Yes! We can discuss any ideas you have for your own portraits.
Do you like black and white? Want something really funky?
More traditional? Rebecca will tailor your session to you.
What will happen at my session?
When you arrive at the studio, Rebecca will take
a few minutes to meet and greet your fur-family.
We will discuss any backdrop choices
and special needs at this time. Then it's into the studio!
You will be very active in helping to capture your pet's portraits. Remember, your pets pick up
on your attitude feelings, so relax and have fun!
How long does a Petography session take?
Sessions typically last anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour,
depending on which session you've purchased.
What should I do to prepare for my pet's photoshoot?
For dogs I recommend exercising your pet during the day before
your session. Bring favorite treats along, and any cute toys
or other articles you may wish to have in the portraits.
The comfort of your pet is paramount, so potty and drink
breaks will be taken if needed!
My dog (puppy, cat, etc.) is a nut! We've never been
able to get a good photo of him! I'm afraid he will not sit still for you.
Don't worry! We will all work together using tricks of the trade
and even some bribes to ensure great results!
I would like to have some candid shots of my pet(s) done...do you travel?
Rebecca's main focus is studio photography, but she also loves to shoot
at your local dog park or even your home. Candid sessions can be
discussed when you call to book your session.
How do I pay for my session?
Payment for your session is due in full at the time of your shoot,
with a check, cash, or credit card payment via Paypal.
When and how do I see my images?
Within a week or so of your session, your final edited images will be available
for viewing in your own personal online gallery. You will given a password
to enter your private gallery, and can share your gallery with friends and
family for 10 days. Use this time to choose which images you'd like to fulfill
your package choices, as well as an additional prints, images, or products.
I see some of your portraits have frames, names, and sayings...can I do that too?
Of course! There is a $25 design fee to add personalize any image.
Please ask about this service when viewing your proof gallery.
I don't want any prints...just a disc of all my images. Possible?
Sure...this is an option that is available with the purchase of any session.
Please see the Petography pricing page for details
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes...any session can be purchased as a
gift certificate.
The purchased certificate can be sent via email to you or your
recipient, or a hard copy can be mailed to the address of your choice.
